1. Scope and Application
These terms and conditions apply to all direct reservations made via the official website, telephone, or on-site registration at Hôtel et Pavillons Le Petit Manoir du Casino, 525 Chemin des Falaises, La Malbaie, Quebec, Canada. Reservations processed through third-party booking platforms are subject to the respective platform’s terms and may differ from those stated here. Completion of a reservation constitutes acceptance of these terms.
2. Reservation and Payment
2.1. Payment Authorization
A valid credit card is required at the time of booking. The total accommodation cost, including applicable taxes and fees, may be pre-authorized upon booking confirmation. An additional hold of $250 CAD applies to debit card payments, which will be released at checkout, subject to room condition and compliance with policies.
2.2. Mandatory Fees
A non-negotiable resort fee of $14 CAD per night applies to all reservations and provides access to designated amenities, regardless of use.
2.3. Deposit and Prepayment
Certain promotional rates and packages require full prepayment at booking. Prepaid reservations are strictly non-modifiable and non-refundable.
3. Cancellation Policy
3.1. Standard Cancellation Terms
Direct reservations can be cancelled without penalty if notice is provided at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled arrival. Cancellations within 48 hours of arrival, or no-shows without cancellation, are charged one night’s accommodation plus applicable taxes.
3.2. Excluded Reservation Categories
The standard cancellation policy does not apply to long-stay reservations, group bookings, or reservations made through third parties. Such bookings follow separate cancellation terms.
3.3. Refund Processing
Qualifying refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7 to 14 business days after confirmed cancellation.
4. Check-In and Check-Out
4.1. Standard Times
Check-in is available from 16:00 (4:00 PM). Check-out must be completed by 11:00 (11:00 AM). Failure to check out by 11:00 may result in charges for an additional night.
4.2. Early Check-In and Late Check-Out
Early check-in is based on availability and must be requested in advance. The property may deny early access if rooms are not ready. Late check-out requires prior arrangement, payment of additional fees, and is subject to availability.
4.3. Pavilion Guest Parking
Guests of Pavilions A or B must use the designated pavilion parking at 75 Rue des Villas, located three minutes by car from the main reception. Parking instructions are given at check-in.
5. Age Restrictions and Supervision
5.1. Minor Guests
Guests under 18 must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times. Room keys are not issued to minors. Parents or guardians are liable for conduct and damages related to minor guests.
5.2. Spa O’Quartz Access
Access to Spa O’Quartz is limited to guests 16 years of age and older at all times. Family-friendly aquatic facilities are available for all ages with required adult supervision.
6. Pet Policy
Pets are accepted only in specific rooms within Pavilions A and B, subject to availability and advance request. Maximum two animals per room. A fee of $35 CAD per night per animal applies. Guests are liable for all damage, cleaning, or disturbance caused by animals. Pets must not be left unattended in rooms.
7. Smoking Policy
Smoking is prohibited in all interior spaces, including guest rooms, corridors, meeting rooms, dining areas, and wellness facilities. Designated outdoor smoking areas are available. Violation of this policy results in a $250 CAD cleaning fee charged to the guest’s payment method.
8. Facility Access and Amenities
8.1. Spa O’Quartz
Registered guests receive complimentary access to Spa O’Quartz as part of accommodation. External visitors may access for $45 CAD per person, including taxes, subject to capacity.
8.2. Equipment Loan
Bicycles, fat bikes, snowshoes, and similar equipment are available for guest loan, subject to seasonal availability and operational discretion. The property is not liable for malfunction or injury related to equipment use. Guests are responsible for the loss or damage of loaned equipment.
8.3. Restaurant Reservations
Dining at Les Délices restaurant requires advance reservation via extension 7888 or through the front desk.
9. Guest Conduct and Liability
9.1. Property Damage
Guests are financially responsible for damage to rooms, furnishings, equipment, or facilities during their stay. Damage is assessed at checkout, and charges apply to the guest’s payment method. Disputes must be submitted in writing within seven days after checkout.
9.2. Disturbances
Conduct that disturbs others, violates policies, or compromises safety may result in immediate eviction without refund. The property reserves the right to terminate agreements for cause at its discretion.
10. Limitation of Liability
The property is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to guest property, vehicles, or valuables. Guests are advised to use in-room safes where available. Liability for service interruptions or facility closures is limited to proportional refunds of accommodation charges directly related to the unavailable service.
11. Privacy and Data Use
Personal information and payment details are processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy as of July 8, 2025. Payment details must be transmitted only through the secure booking module, by telephone, or in person. Payment information is not accepted by email or unsecured channels.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Quebec and Canada. All disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Quebec courts.
13. Modifications
These terms and conditions may be modified at any time without prior notice. Modifications apply to reservations made after the effective date of updated terms. Guests are responsible for reviewing current terms prior to booking.
